First-half goals from Tommy Smith and Ryan Stevenson and a penalty after the break from Jason Scotland saw the Blues to a 3-2 final day of the season win at Doncaster. Smith headed in the opener, then Stevenson hammered in a second, prior to Fabien Robert pulling one back for the home side. In an understated second period, Scotland netted from the spot, then in injury time Habib Beye completed the scoring.

Goals from Jack Marriott (pictured) and Jack Simmons saw Russell Osman’s U18s into the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup via a 2-0 victory over Leeds at Portman Road. Marriott netted in the first half, then Simmons wrapped it up moments after coming on as a sub late on.

The Blues and West Ham are said to be the leading contenders to sign the 34-year-old, who was also linked by last weekend’s tabloids, having been the subject of TWTD Message Board rumours for a number of weeks.
